Ok, so deviantArt deemed it appropriate to delete almost all of my art without giving me only 'copyright violation' as the reason. After questioning further I got told that I had been using copyrighted images in my art.

1. Those images come from magazines which I scanned, I can honestly not see what copyright they violate ~ it's not as if I'm selling my artwork or anything.

2. My animated icons used clips from tv shows, not still images

3. I know JE's all like "omg-lets-copyright-everything-matsujun. we-own-him-afterall." But come on, people could have at least given me a better reason than just going ahead and deleting everything >.<
